Hello there! Today I’m honored to be a part of a very special blog hop hosted by Lea Lawson. This hop is in honor of her sweet son, Layton Caleb. You can read more about Lea’s story here. 
I’ve created a card inspired by the moodboard below. I absolutely love the rustic, modern feel to this moodboard and what makes it even more special is the fact that it was Layton’s nursery moodboard.
I used the Picture Book Love Bear with rustic cream & white cardstock. I used Copics to add color to the hearts, eyes & nose. I also used the Picture Book Sky die with aqua & white cardstock, popping up the clouds for added dimension. 
I used a small triangle from the Live Well stamp set along with Barely Beige ink to stamp subtle triangles on the background. 
For the sentiment I used the Simple Sentiments No.1 stamp set and embossed it in white onto Smoke cardstock. I used one of the Tilted Banner dies to die cut the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape.

Hi there! Just popping in to share a project featuring a few more goodies from the Fluttering By release by Simon Says Stamp.
For the background I blended Maliblue & Audrey Blue ink onto a Sea Glass panel using the Tap Dance Stencil. Then I die cut three otters using the cutie patootie Picture Book Otter die. I die cut three window openings using one of the Nested Circle dies for the otters to pop out of and added a few embossed sentiments from the Messages For Everyday set.

Hi there! Just popping in to share a sneak of a project I have over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Abstract Triangle Stencil. I blended the panel with Distress Oxides and also used some delicious Tonic Moonstone Glimmer Paste. For the sentiment I used one of the YAYs dies along with an embossed sentiment from Messages For Everyday.

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of cards created using the latest May Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp called Kind Heart.
This kit has the most gorgeous PinkFresh Studio papers & stickers along with two stamp sets: Take Heart & Everything Together.
I used the Everything Together stamp set to create this card. I stamped the blooms using Mama Elephant pigment inks. To the centers of the flowers I added Glacier Enamel Accents along with a few scattered Clear Round Drops.
This next card uses some of the gorgeous PinkFresh Studio pattern papers included in the kit.
I added another sentiment from the Everything Together set along with a few tiny puffy heart stickers.

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for day 2 of the Fluttering By Release Blog Hop. My project features the Heart Mandala die along with the Love You Mama set. 
To begin I blended Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade onto bristol followed by flicks of water. 
Next I die cut the Heart Mandala onto white cardstock and adhered the die cut panel to an acetate sheet using spray adhesive. I create a shaker filling it with Celosia & Like Magic sequins.
For the sentiment I used the Love You Mama stamp set & coordinating die. I embossed a coordinating sentiment from the set in white onto a black strip and popped both up with foam tape.

Hi there! Have you seen the amazing new Fluttering By release by Simon Says Stamp? So many fun new products for spring, mother’s day and beyond! I have a project to share featuring the Yes You Can stamp set designed by my favorite Cathy Zielske and the adorable Picture Book Lion die.
To begin I stamped one of the sentiments from the Yes You Can stamp set all over the background using Lavender ink on Lavender cardstock. Then I die cut several pieces of solid colored cardstock for the Picture Book Lion. I used partial die cutting with one of the Stitched Oval dies to create a window frame for the the lion.

Hi there! Have you seen the amazing new Limited Edition Mother’s Day Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp? It is absolutely gorgeous! Full of beautiful florals, gold accents and everything you need to create special projects for Mother’s Day and beyond.
I’ve created two projects using the contents of the kit. This first card uses one of the gorgeous metallic gold die cuts from the 4×4 mat stack by DCWV that is included in the kit. For the background I used a piece of patter paper by My Mind’s Eye, also included in the kit.
For the sentiment I used the Script Mom die and then embossed a coordinating sentiment from the Mom’s Clematis stamp set included in the kit. To finish it off I added some Nuvo drops in Rose Water and Metallic Bright Gold.
For this next card I die cut two tags using the Stitched Dress Up Tag die. Then I die cut an oval into the white tag die cut using one of the Stitched Oval dies. This created a perfect frame for the gold Puffy Heart sticker. I also added some Flourish Thickers Stickers one each side of the puffy heart.
I embossed another sentiment from Mom’s Clematis and added the trimmings to the tags using the Carousel ribbons by Crate Paper.

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project that I’ve created using the fantastic new April 2018 Card Kit called Beautiful Day.
To begin I used the Butterfly Stencil along with several Distress Oxide inks to create this colorful background.
I die cut an oval window using one of the Stitched Oval dies and stamped a sentiment using the Beautiful Day stamp set. I finished it off with several Nuvo Jewel Drops in coordinating colors.
