Waffle Flower August Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their August release blog hop. This is such a fun release full of products to help you swatch, experiment, practice or even play with your various color mediums.
Waffle Flower-Color Swatches, Lacy Flower & AdventuresI had fun playing with the Color Swatches stamp set and used it to create this colorful background grid. I stamped the row of squares repeatedly and painted each square using distress inks. I layered the Lacy Flower die over the painted background and added a sentiment from the new Adventures stamp set.Waffle Flower-Color Swatches, Lacy Flower & AdventuresI also created a small swatch chart of my most used distress ink cubes. This is just a small chart, but you could easily stamp the swatch images three times on a larger piece of watercolor paper and swatch as many as 72 colors. Swatch charts are a feast for the eyes, aren’t they?Waffle Flower-Color SwatchesHere’s a video to show you how I created these projects.
GIVEAWAY!
To celebrate the blog hop, Waffle Flower is giving away $25 gift certificates to THREE lucky winners. Leave comments along the hop by 11:59pm ET on 8/12/18 for your chances to win. Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on any of the posts on this blog hop and will be announced on the Waffle Flower blog on 8/15/2018.

the wheel and you are trying to come up with a
compatible color selection. Thanks for sharing

Wonderful, colourful background to use, screams fun to you. Great video & a fab idea for more swatches. I think I’m going to love just sitting & playing with colours & learning exactly how much we have at hand that we forget about. Like being back at art college again. Thank you.

Love that card and the beautiful, colorful background this grid stamp makes. My craft room goal is organization, and that goal has been the same for years (meaning I’m not very good at it).

I think this swatch card stamp set is a good idea from Waffle Flower. I have watercolor swatch cards in a drawer, and don’t use them because they’re no good! Lol! With this set, I might do them correctly and they would actually help with color selection. I like your use of them as a background on this gorgeous card, as well!
