Best Days Release

Hello! Have you seen the fun new Best Days Release over at Simon Says Stamp? So much fun stuff! I was giddy to see more Picture Book Animals.
SSS-Picture Book Croc, Emphatic, Sweet Elephants & Picture Book SkyI’ve created a couple of cards using some of my faves from the new release. My first card features the Picture book Croc. I die cut the Picture Book Croc with white cardstock and then blended Twisted Citron & Crushed Olive to add the color. I never thought I’d fall for a croc, but this one’s pretty darn adorbs.
SSS-Picture Book Croc, Emphatic, Waves StencilI used the fun new Waves and Hills stencil with distress inks in Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon & Salty Ocean. I die cut a waves with one of the Slopes & Hills dies so that I could tuck the Picture Book Croc behind. I added a super fun sentiment from the new Emphatic set by CZ Design. I get absolutely giddy when I see new CZ Design stuff!
SSS-Picture Book CrocNext up is a baby card featuring the Sweet Elephant dies.
SSS-Sweet Elephants, Picture Book SkyI used the Picture Book Sky for the background and die cut the elephants in Fog & Smoke cardstock. I added a simple sentiment from the Oh Baby stamp set.

See, that’s what I love about your ink blending. I would have thought, “Cracked pistachio ink blended into water? Laura, you’re nuts to use a green!” But it totally works!

Laura, again another two great designs but again you and SSS are going to make me bankrupt or divorced one way or another. I love, love, love all the SSS picture book critters and I have them all on my Wish Lish but my hubby is not playing as yet. Any going spare and I will give them a good home. :O)
