Little Chickie Agenda

Hi there! Today I’m joining Mama Elephant as they highlight the adorable new Little Chickie Agenda set.

Mama Elephant-Little Chickie Agenda & Gatefold X Fence-Creative Cut

To begin I used the Circular Grid-Creative Cut to die cut a panel. I trimmed the panel into a square and popped it up over Ivory cardstock. Then I used the Gatefold X Fence-Creative Cuts to make the sweet picket fence closures.

Mama Elephant-Little Chickie Agenda & Gatefold X Fence-Creative Cut

I added images from the adorable Little Chickie Agenda set to the inside of the card. For the bubble word sentiment I used the Everyday Greeting stamp set, and for the front of the card I used a sentiment from Hello Friend Wishes.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit

Hi there! Have you seen the awesome new March 2019 Card Kit, Lucky Rainbow? It is right up my rainbowlicious alley!!!

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit

My first card features the Amazing stamp set included in the kit. I am so giddy about this card because it’s been far to long since I’ve made a one-layer wonder, and I gotta say, it feels darn good.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit-Amazing

I used Mama Elephant pigment inks for this, keeping it very clean and simple and stamping a bold black sentiment from the Amazing set.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit

This next card features the adorable Wooly Lucky stamp set.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit-Wooly Lucky

Paper Smooches-So Fairy Cute, Flaunters, Bannerific

The first card features the So Fairy Cute set. I created a window frame using the largest Flaunters die. For the sentiment I used the Bannerific die.

Paper Smooches-Mushroom Dies, Flaunters, Bannerific

This sweet little round card features the Mushroom Dies. I framed it with one of the Flaunters dies and added a bird to the top of the mushroom using on of the Birds dies and a simple sentiment from Delightful Greetings.

Raccoon Cutie & Happy Birthday Blend

Hi there! Today I’m sharing these fun projects over on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel. I used more fun products from the February release to create a festive birthday card featuring the Card Sized Confetti Stencil, Happy Birthday Blend stamps & dies as well as the Party Penguins set.

MFT-Raccoon Cutie & Happy Birthday Blend

I couldn’t resist another shape card for this Raccoon Cutie! Oh for sweets sake!

Pop-Up Record Player

Hi there! Today I have a fun Pop-Up Record Player card to share with you. I was so inspired by what Anna Lorenzetto made with the Turntable Die-namics. I just had to try and make one.

MFT-Turntable Die-namics

I trimmed a piece of Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper to 4″ x 12″. Then I scored the strip at 4″, 7 1/2″, 8″ and 11 1/2″ to make the pop-up record player card base. I die cut the Turntable pieces with solid & metallic silver cardstock. This is THE perfect card for my teen girls. They are loving the vintage record player rage right now!

MFT-Turntable Die-namics

For the front of the card I used the Party Penguins stamps & dies. I stamped the images with several Atlenew inks. They stamp so crisp!

MFT-Party Penguins

I added embossed sentiments to the front and inside of the card using the For the Record stamp set.

MFT-Party Penguins

Here’s a video to show you how I created this fun pop-up card.

For the record, I’m in love with this card and hope you enjoyed it, too! Make sure and check out the awesome new February release by My Favorite Things. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love Bear Thanks

Hi there & Happy February! I forgot to share this fun thank you card that was over on the Simon Says Blog this past weekend. I used the Fruit from the Heart stamp set for the bold “thank you” and also used the adorable Picture Book Love Bear.

SSS-Love Bear & Fruit from the Heart

Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the full post & video showing how I created this card.

I also have a winner to announce from my My Favorite Things giveaway.
Congratulations Lauryne Cunningham!

Love Always

Hi there! Today I’m sharing another lovey dovey project using the heart outline stamp from Love Always.

SSS-Love Always

I stamped that one single outline heart, well let’s see, at least 45 times to make this particular card. That’s not counting all the mistakes. It took a few tries to get the spacing right, but it was all worth it in the end. And you know what else? I didn’t use a MISTI(gasp). It was quicker to just eyeball it rather than reposition the stamp or cardbase each time. I used some yummy Simon Says Stamp inks in: Doll Pink, Hot Lips, Rosie Cheeks, Melon & Lemon Chiffon.

SSS-Love Always

For the simple block sentiment I die cut solid colored cardstock in Doll Pink, Lipstick Red, Guava & Orange Peel with the Ornate Love dies.

SSS-Love Always

We are on snow day number two over here, and it is perfect for skating. Pot Pies are in the oven and the fire is crackin’.

Wishing you a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lovable Sloth

Hi there! Today I have a project to share featuring the adorable Lovable Sloth die by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Loveable Sloth

Not that the sloth needed any help in the lovable department, but I feel like I might have just made him cuter with a torso, hahaha! I used the torso from the Picture Book Gorilla die and created a window frame using one of the Simple Rectangle dies.

SSS-Loveable Sloth

For the sentiment I used the Love You dies as well as a coordinating embossed sentiment from Love You Like by the one and only Cathy Zielske. Only she could come up with a sentiment of such perfection as “love you like free wifi”:) The background pattern paper is by Lawn Fawn.

SSS-Loveable Sloth

Today I saw jelly beans at the grocery store. I let out a silent yell of protest on the inside. I just can’t with the Easter yet. It is a full blown snow day here in Illinois at -10°. Hubby just brought the kids in from ice skating on the pond. He’s living his best life today. Wishing you a fantastic day with all the free wifi, chocolate and crafty fun:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Cloudy Day

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this colorful project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring a few of the fun, new January release products.

Mama Elephant-Cloudy Day

To begin I die cut the Cloudy Day Cover with white cardstock and masked off each cloudy section to blend & flick color using distress inks.

Mama Elephant-Cloudy Day

Then I stamped and colored the adorable images from Stackable Cuties with Copics & kinda tucked them into the Cloudy Day background. For the sentiment I used Wild Meadow.
