Too Rad to be Sad

Hello there! Just popping in on this last day of February with a spicy little number to share with you featuring the Grid Play background & stamp set along with the Archie Alpha dies.To begin I stamped the Grid Play Background in Moonlight pigment ink. Then I stamped each one of those small triangles to fill the entire panel. It looks like pattern paper, but it’s even better. It’s like the difference between a homemade chocolate chip and a store bought one. Homemade is always better:) As you can see, I am in love with the Archie Alpha dies and can’t stop using them. I just love being able to make my own ridiculous sentiments like this one. I saw this on a t-shirt and it made me laugh and plus it rhymes, ha! Here’s a quick little video to show you how I made this card. Here’s to a “rad” day😀

Oh, Donut Even

Hi there! Popping in with a fun, little card to make you smile today😊I had some fun with the CZ Design Archie Alpha dies spelling out this cheeky little phrase. For the donut I used the I Love Donuts set and colored it with Copics and used white pigment ink to stamp the sprinkles and later went over the sprinkles with a white gel pen for more intensity. I used a 1″ circle punch to cut out the donut. How about that fun pattern paper? It’s from the new Really Rainbow 6×6 pack from Lawn Fawn. Pretty sure I need a lifetime supply of this paper.

Mama Elephant-Tea with Friends

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Tea with Friends set. This set is so sweet and has me longing for some warm, sunny days to have a picnic outside, especially with a rainbow umbrella and a few furry friends:)!For the subtle background I masked off the ground with post-it tape and blended Antique Linen and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky.

‘Sup You Cheeky Monkey

Hello there or should I say ‘Sup you cheeky monkey😀I have a fun, little project to share with you featuring a few of my faves right now.
I think you already know how I feel about the Picture Book Monkey and when I saw the “cheeky monkey” sentiment in the Hello You set I knew I it was destiny!
For the background I trimmed strips of cardstock to 1/4″ thick and adhered them together onto a small panel. I used one of the Hey dies for the ‘Sup, which worked perfectly with the embossed sentiment in Hello You.Rainbows and cheeky monkeys…you just can’t top that! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Picnic with Friends

Hello! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Picnic with Friends stamp set along with coordinating dies.For the background I used the Tri Window Cover Creative Cut and blended distress oxide inks behind each window using Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio & Twisted Citron. I colored the images with Copics and popped them up with foam tape. How sweet are these furry friends having a little picnic together?

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the a few new CZ design products. I used the Archie Alpha dies to spell out “love” & the Heartthrob stamp set for the winged heart image.For the background I tried out the new Distress Resist Spray and after it dried I blended some Distress Oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio. Waffle Flower Spring 2018 Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their Spring 2018 Release Blog Hop! I absolutely love the new designs as well as the variety of talented designers.
I have a few projects to share using some of the new Spring release. My first card features the Hello stamp set along the the Hello coordinating die.
These kiddos just stole my heart…not to mention the playful kitties❤ For the background I blended Distress Oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio. I colored the images with Copics and popped them up with foam tape. Look at those rainbow striped pants!!! LOVE😍
Next up is the fun Jungle Birthday stamp set along with coordinating dies. One word….MONKEYS!
For the background I blended more oxide inks in Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin & Squeezed Lemonade and then splattered some water using my Distress Sprayer. I drew the strings that the monkeys are hanging from using my Copic Multiliner and a ruler. I colored the images with Copic and added a sentiment from the Enveloper Hello stamp set.
By the way, all three of these cards are a smaller 3.5″x 5″ size. This last card features the adorable Limo Ride stamp set and coordinating dies.
Doesn’t get much better than a station wagon full of furry friends with party hats on and balloons, am I right? For the background I masked off a “road” and blended Black Soot ink along with Mermaid Lagoon for the sky. Images were colored with Copics and popped up with foam tape.

Altenew-Wings of Hope

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the beautiful Wings of Hope stamp set with coordinating dies.To begin I stamped each of the floral & leaf images with Altenew inks. For each image I used two inks: a lighter and darker to give a soft, gradient look. I am absolutely in LOVE with the new ink colors: Green Meadows, Tea Party & Sweet Dreams and I combined several on this card.
I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and arranged them into a loose wreath type of design and then added an embossed sentiment, also from Wings of Hope. To finish it off I added some sparkling clear sequins.Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
