Seasons Givings Blog Hop
December 31, 2017
Happy New Years everyone! Today I’m honored to join several lovely crafters for a Seasons Givings blog hop. This is a HUGE hop with a giveaway offered by each individual on each stop of the hop. I just want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for all your love & support throughout the year and for the many, many comments that you leave. I am so grateful that you choose to stop by my little blog time and time again💗
I have a fun little New Years project that I created using the Simple Numbers dies by Simon Says Stamp. I used my Silhouette to create the little rectangle windows and backed each number with colored cardstock.
I made a fun, slider feature so that you can pull & reveal the “8” for “2018”. I added an embossed sentiment using the Jumbo Stripes stamp set.
And now for the giveaway! Everything below is brand new. I often accumulate doubles of things with my design work and this was the perfect opportunity for me to pass it along to a loving home:) Here is what is included in the giveaway:

Altenew-Fantasy Floral 3D Die
December 26, 2017Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Fantasy Floral 3D die set.
For the background I used the Watercolor Stripes Stencil and blended Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Tide Blue & Sapphire ink for a nice, gradient effect.
I die cut several shades of colored cardsotck with the Fantasy Floral 3D die set. I blended some Pinkalicious ink on the edges of the flower. For the sentiment I used the ‘hello’ from the Flower Arrangement die set.

Season’s Greetings
December 24, 2017Hi there! It’s almost Christmas! Ahhhh…I need like another week to get my act together. My back is killing me from sitting on the floor and wrapping presents, ha! I’m getting too old for this stuff! Just popping in to share a quick & simple christmas card that I made the other day using the Christmas Trees dies by Simon Says Stamp.
I die cut several trees out of solid colored cardstock and also some December Days pattern paper by Pinkfresh Studio.
I stitched the trees on with my sewing machine and silver thread and added a sentiment from the Coolest Yulest stamp set. This stamp set has been one of my most used sets this season. I just love it!
Thinking of all of you during this season and thankful that you take time to stop by my old blog. Sending holiday hugs your way!

Technique Tuesday-Animal House
December 20, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple projects for Technique Tuesday featuring a couple of their Animal House sets.
This first card features the adorable June the Giraffe set. For the background I trimmed strips of paper to make a sort of rainbow sun ray panel. I colored the images with Copics and embossed a sentiment from the June the Giraffe set.
This next card showcases the Lorenzo the Llama set.
I already had a thing for Llamas so it didn’t take much for this set to push me over the edge:)
I used the coordinating die for the llama image and made a tiny shape card out of the llama and popped it up on top of the cared. It’s a double decker card within a card a fun message inside.
I had so much fun playing with these Animal House sets. Check out Technique Tuesday to see more irresistible Animal House sets.
Also wanted to announce a couple of winners from my last two Altenew blog hop giveaways.
The winner from the Altenew December blog hop is Heather King.
The winner from the Altenew Build-A-Flower Carnation blog hop is Lorraine Turner.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-Friends Release
December 14, 2017
Hi there! Have you seen the fun new Friends release by Simon Says Stamp? I have a couple of projects to share using some of my favorite new products.
My first card features more of the adorable Picture Book animals. You can NEVER have too many, right? I used the Picture Book Elephant, Giraffe & Koala and I dressed them up with accessories from the Picture Book Snowman, Deer & Santa. I also used the bow tie die from Cuddly Critters Accessories and some Lawn Fawn plaid papers.
I used the Stitched Oval & Rectangle dies to create my window frame and added an embossed sentiment from the Merry & Bright set. I used a R30 Copic to add rose cheeks, too. Seriously, I can’t even handle the cuteness going on here💗
Next up is a project featuring the Square Dance stencil & Stained Glass Love stamp set.
For the background I blended distress inks with the Square Dance stencil. For the sentiment I used the Stained Glass Love stamp & coordinating die and added accents using the Holly Fanfare die.
Sending you lots of love during this holiday season! Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-January 2018 Card Kit
December 13, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project from the January 2018 Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
I stitched several strips of pattern papers by Pebbles included in the kit onto my card and left the threads loosey goosey:) I used the smallest of the Basic Square dies to die cut a perfect little fish tale on the end of each paper strip.
For the sentiment I used the Really Like You stamp set that is included in the kit and popped the panel onto a Desert Storm card base.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more information about his fun new kit.
I also have a winner to announce from my Spellbinders Holiday blog hop.
Congratulations Stacey Kowbel!!
