Hi there! The August Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp just released and it is gorgeous! I have a project to share featuring the beautiful Mandy’s Flowers stamp set included in the kit.
For the background I used a piece of Bo Bunny Early Bird pattern paper, included in the kit.
I stamped the circle floral frame image from Mandy’s Flowers and colored it with Copics. I used circle dies to create a window opening into the pattern paper as well as die cutting the circle part of the floral frame image. I stamped the flowers again and fussy cut them to piece onto the frame. The sentiment is also from Mandy’s Flowers.
To finish it off I added a few drops using the Bubble Gum Blush Nuvo Crystal Drops included in the kit. Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more info on this beautiful new kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey You Surprise!
July 6, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring a few new sets from the Good Vibes release.
For the background I embossed the Center Cut Geometric Background stamp, and for the sentiment I used the Everett Solid Letter dies along with Vacation Time. I used one of Perforated Flap dies to hide a gift card to the front of the card. Check out the full project and video over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Be Brave!
June 30, 2018Hi there! Today I have a fun project to share featuring the Perforated Flaps dies by Simon Says Stamp. It’s actually a card within a card within a card, so it’s VERY special:)
To begin I used the largest Perforated Flap die on the front panel. I added some patter paper to the flap along with the adorable Picture Book Love Bear.
I embossed a sentiment from the Yes You Can stamp set along with stamping another coordinating sentiment below it. This card is going to my son who leaves soon for Germany to play hockey again this season.
Behind the Perforated Flap is a hidden, smaller photo card. I simply printed off a photo of my son and I and added an embossed sentiment from Vacation Time that I die cut using the smallest Nested Talk Bubbles dies. Inside the photo card is a McDonalds gift card for him to buy some fries and think of his momma when he is away:)
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card within a card within a card.

I Need a Vacation Right MEOW!
June 28, 2018Hello there! Today I have a project to share that makes me smile! A kitty in a mermaid get-up with a major attitude about taking a vacay:)
For the background I embossed the circle ocean scene from Surf’s Up. I masked off each section of the ocean scene and blended in distress inks for the color.
I used a combinations of adorable images from Summer Cuddly Critters & Surf’s Up along with the most perfect sentiment ever! I finished it off with a few sequins in coordinating colors.
Are you feeling like you might need a vacation right meow? Me toooo! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Today is the Greatest
June 24, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects featuring the fun new Good Vibes stamp set from the awesome new Good Vibes release by Simon Says Stamp.
For the backgrounds I used Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors on Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. If you’re wondering how I painted these backgrounds, check out this video.
I embossed this fun image from Good Vibes over the gradient painted backgrounds.
I embossed the fun “peace-sign fingers” on a Metallic Schoolhouse Red envelope to coordinating with the card.
I think this card would work great for a birthday, graduation or many other types of celebratory occasions. Everyone needs some good vibes now and then, don’t ya think? Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS-Beautiful Flowers
May 29, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Beautiful Flowers stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. This set has been very popular. Have you seen what Debby & Yana have done with it? They are absolutely gorgeous!
I embossed the large floral image from Beautiful Flowers in clear and blended distress inks on the blooms using Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade & Picked Raspberry. I used Twisted Citron & Lucky Clover on the leaves.
I created my now little strip of striped pattern paper to adhere along the bottom of the card using the Diagonal Stripes stamp. Don’t you love stripes with florals? It’s like dark chocolate and mint:)
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
Hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-Hex Yeah
May 25, 2018Hi there! I have a sneak of another project I’ve created using the Hex Yeah set. I just love this set so much and can’t seem to put it down. I thought it would be fun to make a hexagon shaker using one of the hexagon dies.
You can check out the full project and video over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-Rad Grad
May 23, 2018Hi there! ‘Tis the season for graduation card making. We are in the thick of it here with our children being of age to have many graduation friends. I’ve created a couple of cards using the Rad Grad set.
It’s no secret that I love every single one of CZ Designs, and she nailed it with this Rad Grad graduation set. I embossed the bold Rad Grad sentiment in clear and blended over with distress inks. I LOVE that many of the sentiments have coordinating dies.
Shakers just make everthing a celebration, don’t ya think? I used one of the Basic Rectangle dies to create a shaker window onto Fog cardstock.
I filled the shakers with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins & star confetti. I also added a graduation cap above the bold sentiment that is also from the Rad Grad set.
I’d love to pick your brain on a few questions I’ve been pondering concerning graduation parties. How much money do you give a graduate: 8th grade, high school, college? I mean, what’s the going rate these days? Also, and more importantly, how do I refrain from eating cake and meatballs at every single party? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Sending Sunshine Blog Hop. If you haven’t already, you can check out the awesome new release HERE! You can also see some amazing projects from yesterday’s hop HERE!
I’ve created a card featuring the Hex Yeah set designed by my fave, Cathy Zielske. Hex Yeah, I love this set! It tickles my geometric lovin’ fancy!
I did a little ink smooshing using distress inks and then embossed the hexagons in white. I popped them up onto a white card base, added a sentiment from Hex Yeah and finished it off with a few Pool Party & Crystal Reflections sequins.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
