Hello there & Happy DieCember®! The latest DieCember® release by Simon Says Stamp is now available and there is so much to love. I have a couple of project to share with you using a few of my faves from the release.
First up is a project featuring the new Picture Book dies. The Picture Book dies are some of my most favorite dies by Simon and I was absolutely giddy to see a Hippo, a Moose & a Polar Bear💗
For the background I partially die cut one of the larger Nested Circle dies to create a circle frame and blended distress inks behind using Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade.
The sentiment is also from the DieCember® release and is called the Script Miss You die.
Next up is another fantastic new die! I LOVE this one. It’s called the Happy HB die.
I kept this one really clean & simple adhering several strips of colored cardtsock in a row to show through the die cut letters of the Happy HB die. I used one of the Nested Circle dies to die cut the Happy HB die cut into a circle shape and popped it up over the colorful strips.
The colors of solid cardstock I use are: (top to bottom)
Amethyst Allure, Royal Purple, Doll Pink, Schoolhouse Red, Chilli Pepper, Orange Peel, Sunshine
I’ll be sharing more projects in the next few days so stay tuned for the blog hops & giveaways!!

I used several of the gorgeous pattern papers in the kit and added photos behind the door for a fun surprise.
For this next card I used the Snowflake stencil by Tim Holtz along with the Ranger Opaque White Texture paste included in the kit.
For the sentiment I used one of the Heidi Swapp foil accent holiday stickers included in the kit.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these projects.

Suzy’s Classical Christmas Watercolor Prints
November 26, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop to reveal Suzy’s Classical Christmas Watercolor Prints. I LOVE all of Suzy’s Watercolor Prints! They make the best little gifts for crafty friends. In fact my kids are always asking, “Mom, do you have any new Suzy’s Watercolor prints, yet?” They love them, too!
For this card I simply colored one of her new Classical Christmas Watercolor Prints with Copics and turned it into a shaker card.
I created the frame using one of the Basic Rectangle dies. Then I used foam tape strips to create the shaker and filled it with Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins.

Milk & Cookies: Simon Says Stamp Card Kit
November 14, 2017Hi there! Just poppin’ in with a cute little project featuring the awesome new Milk & Cookies December Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp!
I thought it would be so fun to make a pop-up box with the adorable Christmas Squad images. I used the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die for the box and the Christmas Squad stamp set for the images. I don’t have the coordinating dies so I fussy cut the images out.
I’m a huge Doodlebug fan so it was easy to fall in love with this kit! I also used some of the Doodlebug pattern papers from the kit on the pop-up box. I also added some Rainbow Sprinkle Jewels to the Christmas tree.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more fabulous inspiration showcasing this super fun kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS-Trick or Treat Shadow Box
October 31, 2017Happy Halloween! I’ve been so in love with the Lawn Fawn shadow boxes lately that I wanted to make one featuring these adorable Trick or Treat critters, but the images were too large so I had to get creative and make my own.
I created the shadow box by trimming 2 pieces of Royal Purple cardstock to 3.5″ x 6.75″. Then I scored both of those at 4.5″ & 6.5″. I used one of the Stitched Rectangle dies to create the window opening and the Stitched Slopes & Hills to add some hills inside the shadow box.
For the images I used a combination of the Trick or Treat & Ghostly Greetings stamp sets. I stamped them with Memento ink & colored them with Copics. How fun is this? I think I wanna make a shadow box for everything now:)
Wishing you a safe & happy Halloween! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I also have a winner to announce from my Spellbinders blog hop post.
Congrats Marjorie Dumontier!
SSS-Kind Flower Card Kit
October 28, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project I created using some of the fun goodies included in the latest November Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
I just had to create a layered project becasue there are so many beautiful papers in this kit. I started with a cream card base and added a layer using the gorgeous silver embossed paper. Next I stitched a strip of the soft pink pattern paper from the Pebbles paper pack.
Then I used my Silhouette machine to cut a few flowers of green cardstock & vellum using this 3D Flower file by Lori Whitlock. I topped the flowers with one of the beautiful accents stickers included in the kit and then embossed a sentiment from the Kind Flowers stamp set onto slate cardstock.
I finished the card off with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I don’t normally create such layered projects like this, but I love how the textures & colors work so well together. You can see many more gorgeous projects featuring the November Card kit in the gallery. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Sweet Cheeks
October 27, 2017Hello there sweet cheeks! Today I’m sharing this fun little number over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring a few of my favorite thing right now. I can’t put down the Grid Play Stencil and always, always, always have my mini distress cubes handy to use with them. I’m loving blending on Bristol paper lately.
I’m also in love with anything the Cathy Zielske designs. Her Hello stamp & die set are one of my faves! And last but not least the Nuvo Jewel drops are like card maker candy. I can’t get enough. STAMPtember®-CZ Designs
September 18, 2017
Hi there! I’m back with a couple of fantastic new STAMPtember® exclusives designed by Cathy Zielske. I love, love, love Cathy’s style & especially her humor and her new sets certainly do not disappoint!
This first project features the Hollaween set. To create the background I used the ghost die from the coordinating Hollaween die set and die cut an entire panel of Fog cardstock repeatedly. Then I played the die cut Fog panel over top of a white card base and stamped the ghost images inside each die cut opening using Simon Says Stamp inks.
I stamped the “holla” and embossed the other coordinating sentiments and popped everything up with foam tape. To finish it off I added a few Nuvo Jewel drops in coordinating colors.
Next up is the Coolest Yulest set & the Hos dies. I used the smaller of the Hos dies with the White Glittered cardstock. I stacked up several die cuts for dimension.
I adhered several strips of red & green cardstock together to created a colorful, striped panel to contrast the glittered die cuts and then added an embossed coordinating sentiment from Coolest Yulest. To finish off I added a few Studio Katia Sparkling Crystals.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more on this fun little release by CZ Design. Thanks so much for stopping by!
